Following the closure of Ilex the Urban Regeneration Company (URC), The Executive Office (TEO) is now responsible for the redevelopment of Ebrington which is a 29 acre site on the east riverfront of Derry~Londonderry.

About

Over £30 million has been invested in the site which includes the development of the former Parade Ground (now Ebrington Square) into a large open air event space, the construction of the 214 space car park with enabling platform at King Street plus the following:

  • The development of building 80/81 into Creative and Digital Hub
  • The development of building 70 as a craft brewery (Walled City Brewery)
  • The development of buildings 57/59, occupied by a Café operator (Ollies)
  • Building 71, occupied by the Department for Infrastructure

A proposal for Grade A Office Accommodation on top of the enabling platform is currently being developed and a planning application for same will be lodged in 2018.
