Delivering Social Change (DSC) is a framework that seeks to co-ordinate key actions across Government Departments to take forward work on priority social policy areas. It aims to deliver a sustained reduction in poverty and associated issues across all ages and is also seeking to secure an improvement in children and young people’s health, well being and life opportunities thereby breaking the long term cycle of multi-generational problems.

As part of this process it was decided to explore what day to day issues were most important to the people of Northern Ireland. To this end, five questions were placed in the Northern Ireland Omnibus Survey for January 2015.
