A public appointment competition is currently underway to find a new independent chair.
Previous chairs include Judith Gillespie (June 2020 to November 2022), Peter McBride (May 2019 to May 2020) and Norah Gibbons (February 2017 to March 2018). Currently, the TEO Deputy Secretary, Good Relations and Inclusion Division, Gareth Johnston is the Interim Chair.
