Summary

In 2018, Northern Ireland’s greenhouse gas emissions were estimated to be 19.4 MtCO2e (million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent); 2.1 percent greater than 19.8 MtCO2e reported in the PfG baseline year (2014). This represents no change from the baseline.
