    The Executive Office (TEO) is responsible for the regeneration of Ebrington, a 29 acre site on the east riverfront of Derry~Londonderry.

    About

    Over £30 million has been invested in the site which includes the development of the former Parade Ground (now Ebrington Square) into a large open air event space, the construction of the 214 space car park with enabling platform at King Street plus the following:

    • Building 4 – Formerly married quarters and office, now occupied by Ebrington Dental
    • Building 10/10A – The original guard house, now occupied by GLA Surveyors and HR Team Services
    • Building 11 – Former Barrack Store, now The AMP, business growth incubator
    • Building 17 – Formerly the Barrack Master’s House
    • Building 30 – Formerly the Keep
    • Building 40 – Formerly the canteen, this building will be a restaurant and bar
    • Buildings 45, 46 and 49 – The original Hospital building and Recreational building. TEO are working closely with Derry City and Strabane District Council to transform into the Derry North Atlantic Maritime Museum
    • Building 57/59 – Now the Embankment Bar and Grill
    • Building 62 – Has been converted into a ‘Changing Places’ facility by domiciliary care provider Glen Caring
    • Buildings 63, 67, 68, 69,79 – Formerly the Officers' Quarters and Soldiers' Quarters, this has been developed into the 4-star Ebrington Hotel and Spa
    • Building 70 – Now the Walled City Brewery craft brewery and restaurant
    • Building 71 – The original Officers' Mess
    • Building 80/81 – The former Accommodation Block has been converted to office space.
    • Building 83/85 – Former Officers' Mess, Ballroom and Accommodation Block now holds Action for Children
    • Building 102 – Now the Ebrington Bakery
    • Building 104 – Former Accommodation Block has been developed into a business innovation hub, managed by Enterprise North West
    • Building 115 – Former School House, now occupied by Atelier Hair
    • Building 116 – Former School House, now occupied by Urban 3D
    • Building 117/118 – Former Married Quarters; these buildings and surrounding land are part of a development agreement Ebrington Holdings Ltd who plan to develop social housing.

    Ebrington Event Space

    The Event Space Application Process for Large Scale events at Ebrington Square for 2024 is currently open for applications from music and event promoters. Applicants are asked to fill out the form and return to Council by 24 November. Applicants are urged to read the terms and conditions and provide all relevant documentation –
