The IDWG Chair

Lisa Caldwell took up the post of Independent IDWG Chair in November 2023.

Lisa has extensive experience across private, public and voluntary sectors working in and alongside government, both nationally and internationally.

Previously, she was Director of External Affairs at Belfast City Council. She is a Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Previous chairs include Judith Gillespie (June 2020 to November 2022), Peter McBride (May 2019 to May 2020) and Norah Gibbons (February 2017 to March 2018).
