Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland – recruitment competition

The Executive Office today launched a recruitment competition to appoint a Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland.
The Commissioner is an Independent Statutory Office Holder appointed by the First Minister and deputy First Minister acting jointly.
The part-time appointment (75 days per annum), attracts remuneration of £23,877 and is offered on the basis of a single, five year term. The successful applicant will be expected to take up the appointment on or before 1 September 2021 (if possible).
A series of advertisements will appear in local and national papers and websites in order to attract as wide a candidate pool as possible.
The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon GMT on 11 June 2021.
