  • Intergovernmental cooperation across the Irish Sea space

    Date published: 9 October 2026

This PEACEPLUS funded research report examines the opportunities and barriers to greater intergovernmental cooperation across the Irish Sea. It identifies areas where closer collaboration could deliver shared benefits and makes recommendations to support future intergovernmental and territorial cooperation.

The report was delivered by the European Policies Research Centre, University of Strathclyde & the Centre for Cross Border Cooperation as part of the Developing Irish Sea Cooperation (DISC) project.

The DISC project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
