On 11 August 2026, the Head of the Northern Ireland Civil Service commissioned a scoping and assurance exercise relating to the period during which Jeffrey Donaldson served as a Junior Minister in the former Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister (OFMdFM) between February 2008 and July 2009.
