Refugee Integration Strategy
The development of a Refugee Integration Strategy was a recommendation in the Racial Equality Strategy 2015-2025 and its publication demonstrates further progress towards delivery of our commitments. The Strategy sets out how the Executive will take action to support the integration of people seeking protection here to ensure that they are treated fairly, do not suffer injustice, can live here as valued members of our community, and have every opportunity to realise their full potential.
The associated Outcomes Delivery Framework does not intend to set out in detail everything that will be done, instead it focuses on the cross cutting, key areas which those with lived experience and the organisations that support them raise as critically important.
This approach aims to make the most effective use of resources by supporting and promoting collaborative working towards shared outcomes across Departmental and cross sectoral partnerships, alongside a continual lived-experience input, which will be key to the successful delivery of the Strategy.
Access to the Strategy and the associated Outcomes Delivery Framework is available on the Refugee Integration Strategy - Documents page
