    International Relations Team

This page provides information on the work of the International Relations team and its role in delivering the Executive’s International Relations Strategy. It supports the integration of International Relations priorities into the work of all Northern Ireland Civil Service departments, showcasing the region to visiting dignitaries and ensuring both inward and outward visits deliver tangible outcomes.

    The Northern Ireland Bureau, China

The Northern Ireland Bureau was established in September 2014 by the First Minister and deputy First Minister to develop relations with China that would provide mutual benefits. The Bureau has both a diplomatic and a Representative Office in Beijing, promoting the Executive’s priorities to China’s central, provincial and municipal governments.

    Northern Ireland Bureau, North America

The Northern Ireland Bureau is the diplomatic mission of the Northern Ireland Executive in the United States and Canada. It works to cultivate and strengthen links between various political, economic, educational, and cultural interests in Northern Ireland and North America and also serves as a resource for individuals and organisations looking to learn and understand more about Northern Ireland and about its relationship with the United States and Canada.
