    About the Project:

The project involved the renovation of St Patrick’s Hall in Limavady in order to develop a family resource facility to improve and increase services within the area.

St Patrick’s Hall was a derelict site which required a complete renovation to bring the building up to a more modern fit for purpose standard, comply with health and safety requirements and to provide communal space for community functions and events.

    Progress to date:

This project has completed construction and is operational. The new family resource centre will provide valuable shared space which will improve the quality, capacity and range of vital community services offered to help meet the needs to the local communities and will encourage social interaction and foster good community relations ultimately improving the quality of life for people within the local communities.

    Impacts:

Monitoring and evaluation of all Social Investment Fund projects is carried out using “Outcomes Based Accountability” (OBA). Where SIF has funded capital works, the project provides quarterly “post-capital” data for a period of 3 years which details the positive impacts enabled by the capital works undertaken. The final capital infographic below highlights some of the key impacts of the project to date. The St Patrick’s project is in the early stages of post capital OBA returns and OBA final capital infographic is attached below.
