Urban Villages (UV)
The UV programme is designed to improve good relations outcomes and develop thriving places where there has been a history of deprivation and community tension.

Strategic Investment and Regeneration Branch (SIRB)
SIRB provides advice to Ministers and the Executive on infrastructure investment and Public Private Partnership (PPP) policy, alongside sponsorship for the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation (MLKDC) and the Strategic Investment Board (SIB).
Contributes through the services which it provides to Arm’s Length Bodies, TEO senior management and the NICS, in the achievement of business objectives.
Facilitates opportunities for the Branch and its ALBs to enable and contribute to outcomes set out in the draft PfG framework and in the Outcomes Delivery Plans.
Main Activities
- Provides a sponsorship role of The Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation to support delivery of its business plan outcomes and meet its governance and financial management responsibilities. Further information on MLKDC can be found at: Maze Long Kesh Regeneration | Maze Long Kesh
- Provides a sponsorship role of The Strategic Investment Board Limited (SIB) to support delivery of its business plan outcomes and meet its governance and financial management responsibilities. Further information can be found at: Home - Strategic Investment Board (sibni.org)
- Along with SIB, co-ordinates implementation of the Executive’s Investment Strategy (ISNI). Details of the current ISNI and work to develop the next strategy can be found at: Investment Strategy - ISNI
- Supports Infrastructure Development by providing information on PFI policy and commitments, the Investment Strategy and support for delivery of the regeneration of Ebrington.
- Provision of Input to projects, programmes and strategies that address reform and effective use of resources.

Ebrington
The Ebrington team is responsible for the regeneration of Ebrington, a 29-acre site on the east riverfront of Derry~Londonderry.
